Glennette Reckley

As Managing Director of the Clifton Heritage National Park Authority, Glennette Reckley leads the stewardship of one of The Bahamas’ most culturally and historically significant sites. Her role encompasses guiding the park’s strategic vision, overseeing its daily operations, and ensuring that the stories of the Lucayans, Loyalists, and Africans are preserved and shared with future generations.


In recent months, Reckley has been prominently engaged in public and cultural events, including representing the Authority during the International Women’s Day celebrations held at Clifton in March 2025. Her leadership has also been highlighted in community forums and social media, where she is often recognized for her energy, commitment, and hands-on approach to promoting the park as both a heritage site and a living space for cultural expression.


Under her direction, Clifton Heritage has been positioned not only as a site of historical preservation but also as a space for community engagement—hosting tours, cultural performances, educational initiatives, and events that connect Bahamians and visitors alike to the nation’s history and natural beauty.
